Cookie Policy

Version 2.0 · Effective October 2, 2026 · Last updated October 2, 2026

This policy explains how Shopinzip Inc uses cookies and similar technologies in GrowingWhale, and how to control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This policy covers our marketing websites and the Studio app on growingwhale.ai and its subdomains, and any other domain we operate that redirects to them. Section 7 explains what happens on websites our Members build and host with us.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They may be set by us (first-party) or by others (third-party), and may last for a browser session or persist for a set time. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and SDKs; we call them all "cookies" here.

The cookie settings panel on our site shows every cookie and tag we use at any time, with its provider, purpose and duration, and forms part of this policy. Each one falls into one of the categories above and follows the choices you make for that category.

Analytics and advertising cookies run only on our marketing websites, never in the Studio app.

4. Advertising cookies and your opt-out

Our advertising cookies let Meta and Google measure and target ads for GrowingWhale on other sites. Under California law this may be "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and under New Jersey and other state laws it is "targeted advertising."

  • Your Privacy Choices. Use the link in our website footer to turn off advertising cookies.
  • Global Privacy Control. We treat a GPC signal from any US visitor as an opt-out of advertising cookies on that browser.
  • EEA, UK and Switzerland. Analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you accept them.
  • Cookie banner. On your first visit you can accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Accept and reject are equally easy to use. You can change your choice anytime through "Cookie settings" in the footer.
  • By region. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, non-essential cookies are off until you consent. Elsewhere, analytics and advertising cookies are on by default and you can turn them off, and a GPC signal turns advertising cookies off.
  • Google Consent Mode. We use Google Consent Mode. Depending on how it is set up, before you consent Google tags either don't load, or send only cookieless signals that store nothing on your device and are used to model conversions in aggregate.
  • Records. We keep a record of your choice for 12 months and ask again after 12 months or when we add a new category.

6. Do Not Track

Browsers' Do Not Track signals have no agreed standard, so we don't respond to them. We do honor Global Privacy Control.

7. Websites Members build on GrowingWhale

  • On Member websites, GrowingWhale sets the strictly necessary cookies needed to run the site securely and remember consent choices, plus any tools the Member chooses to turn on.
  • Analytics, pixels, chat tools and other tags on a Member's website are added by that Member, who is responsible for its cookie banner, privacy policy and any consent required.
  • Where we provide a consent banner feature, the Member must turn it on and configure it correctly for its visitors.

8. Browser controls and other tools

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and checkout. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and your Meta ad preferences.
